Wacky Wednesday

Nothing new from Spain today really so I thought I would post this crazy picture to liven up those midweek blues!

Great news! it appears that our Sunday School class has a new teacher. John Ceicla is taking over starting this Sunday. God really does answer prayers, because i know that there have been several from the class that didn't want it to dissolve and were praying for a teacher. I look forward to attending when I get home. I know John and Angel probably don't know that this great literary work exists but "Thank You!" to both of you!

Since we're on the subject of Church and Sunday School, let me tell you a little about my quiet time today. Today the lesson was on "The mark you leave behind" Whether we want to or not, we leave behind spiritual fingerprints long after we die. We can choose to leave a small trace, meaning we probably didn't choose to live out our Christian beliefs or we can leave a huge legacy that will carry on for generations. How you ask, by providing a good Christian example to our kids and grandkids. The book I'm reading brings out some good ways to do this that are really quite simple:

1. Let your kids see you read the Bible.
2. Live an honest life (Kids can pick up on our inconsistencies)
3. Leave an imprint of prayer. Pray for each other and let your kids know about it
4. Leave an enduring testimony, make sure that you share your testimony with your kids.

Now, do I believe that this will answer all our problems, probably not, but these are 4 great rules that we should strive for so that we leave a lasting imprint of our Christian walk on this earth.
I thought that today's life sign was pretty good and thought I would share a little of it with you.I have also decided to start adding the "Life in Action" question to the end of my post, just to give you a little something to think about each day.

Life Sign, Day 7: The imprint of my Christian life will remain for eternity.
Life in Action, Day 7: In what specific ways am I leaving behind (positive-or-negative) imprints in the lives of my family, friends, co-workers, and community?
