Tuesday Topics!

Not much to report for today. Lots of little things, hence the title "Topics"

I am laying off running so far today since I pushed myself yesterday and I am sore. I am going to only run 1 mile today just so I can say, "I didn't skip a day"

This makes 6 days in a row to get up early and do my Bible study. I encourage you to try it if you don't already do it. It's a great way to start your day. Just getting up early and being still and quiet before starting a busy day is nice regardless of whether you study your Bible or not.

Andria reports that my friend Jackie Dolan will not need surgery to fix his hernia. Good News!

I didn't get to talk to the kids very long this morning. It seems like everyone always wants to schedule meetings around that time. Don't these people know that's my "Family Time"? ha ha

I did a little horse trading today. Well, not really horses, more like License plates. Cleave likes to collect license plates so I talked to the guy at Pass and ID and he hooked me up with a Spanish license plate. Andria is sending me a few to give the guy in return. His name is Jose Luis and he would fit in perfect in Arkansas. He likes anything with a motor and we talk motorcycles quite a bit. He rides a Yamaha FJR sport touring bike so we usually talk about touring in Europe. I wish I could get my hands on a bike while I was here. He offered to show me some great roads if I could find a motorcycle but rental is extremely expensive and I don't have any of my gear here. Oh Well!
