Lily and I had quite a conversation at 6:30 this morning. I'm surprised that she wanted to talk, but Andria plopped her down in the chair and it was like someone put new batteries in a toy, she just started jabbering! It went something like this:
Me: "Hey Lil, whatcha doin"
Lil: "Nothing daddy, We're going to play school, I'm the teacher and you're gonna learn, OK?"
Me: (Laughing hysterically) "Ok, Lil."
Lil: (Holding up a flash card with a capital A, lowercase a, and a picture of an apple) "Say the letter Daddy!"
Me: "A"
Lil: "No! it's Big A"
Me: "Ok, Big A"
Lil: "Now what's next Daddy?"
Me: "A"
Lil: "NO! Daddy you're supposed to say Big A, little a, and then say apple!"
Me: "Ok, sorry, I'll try to do better!"
Lil: "Now say aaaah, aaaah, aaaah, Daddy! Say Apple, aaaah, aaaah, aaaah! Say it Daddy!"
Now, I love talking to Lillers, but I was really afraid that we were going to have to go through the whole alphabet this morning! Thankfully, Andria was running a little late and they had to go before we really got into it. We would probably still be at it at the rate I was going!
Hope everyone is doing well! Well, the polls have closed and in a shocking turn of events it appears that everyone who voted is planning to vote for McCain in November. I was surprised that no one voted for Obama or Osama or whatever that other guy's name is, oh wait, I guess you didn't have that option in my poll. ha ha ha
Seriously, I was listening to Dave Ramsey today and he said something that made me think a little more about politics. Dave says we need a new party because one party only knows how to get us in terrible debt and the other party only knows how to tax us to death. It really does make you think, about which candidate, if either, is right for the job. We all need to be praying for God to put his hand on the future President of our Country and give Him wisdom and guidance.

Those games can go on for hours it seems like. The other night Morgan and I played restaurant. We would do these things for our kids any time.
