Boy does my brain hurt! I just finished taking the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test, better known as the AFOQT. I have been kicking around the idea of getting my commision and in order to do this you have to take the test that I am quite sure Satan himself designed. I started at 5:05 pm and finished up around 8:15
I have to say a big "Thank You!" to TSgt Patrick Crumby for staying late after work tonight to proctor the test for me.
So, let me tell you about this three hour test! It is comprised of 12 different sections and each section is timed. There is a variety of questions on this test, everything from Addition to Algebra, word associations, visual acuity, chart and graph reading, basic aircraft knowledge, aircraft heading, pitch, and direction problems, and mathmatecal terms. This is one extensive test! The cool thing about the test, is that guessing doesn't count against you so, only the questions you get right are added up for the total score.
