I have been wanting to buy a new camera for a while. I used a Nikon D40 to take most of my photos in Spain and most of the pictures turned out awesome, except for those where my limited photography skills got in the way! I was fortunate during my time in Spain to have met a teacher/photographer who was kind enough to take time to show me how to use some of the features of the Nikon cameras.
So, Andria and I decided to buy ourselves a camera as our Christmas gift to each other since our parents are always giving us a hard time about never getting any pictures of the kids. I ordered a Nikon D60 and a couple of lenses and it should arrive today! I can't wait!
I'm sure that the kids are not going to be so happy about this as I will be telling them to smile and trying to take their picture every five seconds.
Well, since I'm off today, I think I'll take Connor to the donut shop, besides, I could use a cup of coffee.
Happy Holidays and Mery Christmas!

Mike and Andria...enjoy your gift together. I heard as a gift you were deciding between the Nikon camera or an 8 x 10 glossy of yours truly...
We bought a D40 for Christmas and LOVE IT! Good choice!
