Clone Trooper takes Spanish Senorita hostage!

Friday was Halloween and the kids dressed up for trick or treating. As you can see, Connor was a clone trooper from the Star Wars movies and Lily was a Flamenco dancer. I actually bought Lily's dress in Spain in the town of Ronda. I was afraid that I had lost it when the airlines lost my bag, but thankfully, it was returned safe and sound.

Lily swore that she was not going to wear the dress on Halloween but she was persuaded by Andria to give it a try. Andria and the kids were riding in the car and as usual, Lily was in the back chatting up a storm to whomever would listen. She kept saying Rrrrrrrico, all the while rolling her R's so at the perfect time, Andria said, "He Lil, if you wear your dress that Daddy bought you from Spain you can say that all night on Halloween!" Lily thought about this little proposition for a few minutes and decided that might be pretty cool, so talking her into it was all a matter of timing.

Connor wanted to be a clone trooper for quite a while, mostly because it involved getting to carry some kind of toy gun. He kept asking me to buy the gun that went with the costume but he already has a whole box full of toy guns so I talked him into using one that he already had. I thought his costume turned out good.
So we did the standard Halloween ritual and made the rounds to both sets of grandparents and then over to Aunt Linda and Uncle Pauls house for their annual halloween party. The kids did a little trick or treating and just in the few houses they visited, they got enough candy to last them an entire year, We usually have Halloween and Christmas candy left over in June.
Overall, we had a good Halloween, the kids had fun, and were worn out by the time we got them home.

Kids looked great...what did mom and dad dress up as?

For some reason I have Mike envisioned as a Park Ranger and Andria as police woman.
