Well, I guess saying Shaq was in town is stretching it a little but the "Conman" was definately in town today. He played his second game of basketball today and the team did great. It's been awesome to watch Connor improve throughout the season last year and this year he has already shown more skills in the last two games. He keeps his guard up and he's really turning into a pretty good basketball player. He made several baskets today and blocked a few shots as well. I'm really proud of him!
Coach Jeff really seems to have a good group of boys this season, although, I did catch the end of practice this week and found them to be doing some extra running. I'm not sure but I think that there were some hijinks going on during the devotional part of practice, I wouldn't expect any less from a bunch of 7-8 year olds but it's aggrevating nonetheless. I admire Jeff for having the patience to coach these boys.
