Once a month some of the girls from our Sunday school class along with a few of their friends get together for a little game of Bunco, leaving all the guys at home. They call themselves the "Bunco Babes" which is really just a cover, I'll explain later! Anyway, Andria tells me that Dena Dolan is going to be playing tomorrow night so I would like to take this opportunity to welcome my good friend Jackie to the Bunco Boys support group. Jeb, Philip, Marvin, and myself have been longstanding members of this elite group. "Welcome aboard, Jackie!"
Now, I'm not complaining but I want to throw out a little comparison here. Some of the ladies complian that we "might" spend a little too much time in the deer woods during deer season but the truth of the matter is, we are out there trying to put food on the table where as this Bunco business is really just a cover story for a small time gambling operation. I hear rumors they may be branching out into the counterfeiting business as well as a little off track betting and maybe even possibly breaking into the slot machine business. As my friend Philip says "Bunco is a whole lotta bunk!"
Ok, enough kidding around, actually Bunco night is a great thing for the ladies to do, it keeps em practiced up for those weekend jaunts to Vegas to play craps or some other dice game. Rumor has it that the "Bunco Babes" own a portion of a casino as well, but I can't confirm.
Seriously, I really think Bunco is a great time for the girls to get together for fellowship and to have a good time. I was just teasing ladies, ya'll have fun!
