Final Challenge

Well, I feel like the final countdown has begun for me to go to Spain. I have been frantically trying to get all the last minute details taken care of. I sometimes wonder if God throws us a challenge just to see how we will react to it. For instance, today was a pretty standard day at work with the exception of being a little busier than normal trying to leave my office in decent shape while I'm away when suddenly Murphys Law decided to rear it's ugly head and we had a mishap. It wasn't one of those accidents where someone gets hurt but it did do some damage to one of our aircraft, which is never a good thing. So, my pretty average day just shifted into overdrive and I ended up staying at work until 6:30. Now 6:30 may not seem late, but when you are supposed to be going on a 3 month trip and you haven't packed a single item, any extra time spent at work is not a good thing. To make matters worse, it was Lily's 4th birthday and I missed her birthday dinner, what a bummer! Oh well, tomorrow is a new day!
